Jason is back in a great sequel with plenty of thrills and much-needed humor. Before SCREAM, this 'Friday' had its tongue firmly planted in cheek.
The opening with Jason in a James Bond, 007-ish circle, throwing a knife at the audience, is classic! In this edition, Tommy Jarvis digs up Jason and a bolt of lightning brings him back to life. He heads back to camp, where counselors and kiddies are getting into outdoor activities.
Some great kills in this one, including one babe who gets her head mashed through a wall and a huge camper that is overturned Rambo-style. Wicked music by Alice Cooper and an inspired ending make this one EXCELLENT Friday!
